The name of the property is WINBOURNE. It’s on Mulgoa Road, 13.15km from the fire station near Penrith. It’s opposite The Settlers Restaurant and next to the Peppercorn Café. The name WINBOURNE was given by the Cox family in the early 1820s and they named it after the village in Dorset, England, from which they came.

The gates were donated by the Marr family. Mt Sion was the name give to Winbourne when the Brothers used the facility as part of the Teachers’ College. |
